JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Ready to lead ground-up industrial construction projects from start to finish? We're looking for a hands-on Superintendent in St Petersburg who can take a project from raw earthwork through tilt-up erection and building close-in, and deliver it on time, on budget, and built right. If heavy civil work, underground utilities, and tilt-up construction are where you do your best work, this is your next challenge.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the build from the ground up — lead execution across site development, mass grading, underground utility installation, and tilt-up panel construction, reviewing plans and specs, inspecting work, and keeping contractors sharp on safety and quality every step of the way.
• Own the numbers — manage the project budget end-to-end: reviewing and approving vendor/contractor invoices, tracking spend, and flagging financial needs before they become problems.
• Set the pace — build and manage the project schedule from early site work through tilt-up erection, anticipating weather and soil curveballs, and making the calls that keep the timeline intact.
• Run the jobsite — oversee contractors and manpower on-site, inspect work for safety and spec compliance, and adjust staffing to hit schedule and budget targets.
• Be the voice of the project — keep business leaders, equity partners, and stakeholders in the loop with clear, timely updates and answers.
• Build your team — assemble your onsite crew, bring in the right civil, underground utility, and tilt-up trade partners, and lead them with a standard that reflects our values.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience working on ground up construction projects, with hands-on experience in heavy civil/dirt work, underground utilities, and tilt-up construction — from first shovel to final delivery.
• Experience working on industrial projects is preferred, but most important is a candidate who is adaptable, eager to learn, and brings the right attitude.
• Deep working knowledge of site logistics, soil/grading conditions, underground utility sequencing, and tilt-up panel design, forming, and erection.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, evolving project schedules with precision and adaptability.
• A track record of building strong relationships with your team, subs, and owners — and a jobsite culture people want to be part of.

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

• Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
• Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
