JOB DESCRIPTION
The Operations and Financial Analyst Internship will contribute to key initiatives within Greystar's Owned Asset team, supporting national and regional leaders. This role offers hands-on experience in project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of strategies for achieving operational excellence by generating and analyzing reports on the Company’s performance.
- Help provide management and others with data and input to formulate strategies, programs, and actions for improving operating and financial results.
- Work closely with the team on data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
- Help identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
Qualifications:
- Graduating between December 2026 and May 2027
- Preferred major: Business, Finance, Real Estate
- Curiosity and a desire to learn.
- Flexibility and willingness to pivot.
- Quantitative background that demonstrates analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Working knowledge of data analytics tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Dax, Excel, etc.) is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and capability to articulate complex topics.
- High standard of accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines.
- Project management skills to create project plans, track and monitor progress, meet production and delivery deadlines.
This internship offers a flexible remote format, with the opportunity to work in a hybrid or in-person capacity if you are located near our Dallas, TX or Newport Beach, CA office.
Additional Compensation:
Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.
Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
