Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted HR partner to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage end-to-end HR processes, including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Assist in talent acquisition efforts, partnering with hiring managers to support recruitment and selection.
- Ensure compliance with Australian employment laws, workplace regulations, and company policies.
- Support training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organisation.
- Oversee HR administrative tasks such as maintaining HR records, managing contracts, and handling employee inquiries.
- Assist with HRIS system management, ensuring data accuracy and supporting HR reporting needs.
- Drive employee engagement by supporting company-wide initiatives, events, and wellness programs.
- Provide support on compensation, benefits, and payroll-related queries.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as an People & Culture Generalist or similar role in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
- Strong understanding of Australian employment laws and HR compliance.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Proactive and solutions-focused mindset with a passion for people and culture.
- Experience using HRIS platforms (Workday experience preferred).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
