APAC Procurement Manager

As the APAC Procurement Manager for organisation, you will lead procurement efforts across the Asia-Pacific region, overseeing compliance, strategic sourcing, supplier relationships and purchasing. Your role will be pivotal in driving cost-effective procurement practices while managing operations in China, Japan, Singapore, and Australia.


JOB DESCRIPTION

Compliance and Risk Mitigation:

  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and compliance requirements in each APAC country.

  • Implement and enforce global procurement policies including implementation of RFP software into the APAC region

  • Manage contract lifecycles and mitigate supply chain risks.

  • Review and enhance current processes to align with Greystar’s Corporate Governance framework.

  • Effectively utilise RFP management software for efficient procurement process management.

  • Monitor procurement processes, identifying enhancement opportunities within our governance framework to drive evolution and optimisation. 

Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers across APAC.
  • Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and address any issues promptly.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Supplier Support and global team to develop procurement strategies.

Market Intelligence:

  • Keep abreast of market trends, pricing fluctuations, and industry developments.
  • Leverage market intelligence to optimise procurement decisions.

Additional Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing and Purchasing:

  • Develop and execute direct spend sourcing strategies for real estate-related goods and services.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to align procurement activities with organisational goals.
  • Drive cost savings initiatives through effective negotiations and supplier management.
  • Oversee the end-to-end purchasing process, including requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor selection.
  • Ownership of managing contracts and supplier relationships to meet operational needs effectively.
